Starting last Thursday, the 24th, Mauer had been pulling at his ears. I chalked it up to Mauer teething. The weekend went on and he was pretty fussy. Monday or Tuesday, I noticed some extra earwax and more “crusties” in his nose. I made an appointment for him on Friday the 2nd and they confirmed that he had an ear infection. Poor babe! Although 8 out of 10 ear infections heal on their own, they still prescribed antibiotics. Kind of weird, but maybe it will speed up the healing process.

Ear Infection
